NT4, Toshiba Tecra 8000& IrDA (IR)

I have a Toshiba Tecra 8000 and I run NT4 on it and now I need to use the IrDA that is built in the tecra 8000, but I can't get it to work so I wonder if anyone got a tecra 8000 with NT and use the IrDA port, what have you done to get it to work, what prg and where do I get the prg/driver and so on

For the last year I have looked for such a program. I own a Tecra 8000, running NT WKS 4, sp5.  

The solution was to install Windows 2000 Professional. All the laptop facilities are available, and it has been stable.
