How to get something like this?

http://intellitrip.thetrip.com/

is a web site let you search for
lowest air fair.  After I entered
criteria , it gave me a page says
"searching ...", and when result
come out, it shows.

I don't know how to send such a waiting
page and how this waiting page know
the search is finished.

I am using CGI/Perl .

A simple way to do this is to have a web page that displays your message (such as searching), that has a <meta...> tag to load the page you really want to do the work.

When the page which really does the work is done, it will replace your "waiting" page.
