Ad-Blocking Software for Internet?

I want to find a decent banner ad-blocking application which would work with Netscape 3.x thru 4.7.  I have used both InterMute and Proxomitron on my home wintel PC, and both have worked admirably.

I need a comparable app for use on the PowerPC's in the students' computer lab at my school.  Freeware preferred, of course (otherwise, I'd be spending your tax dollars :).

I've grown quite weary of Disney and Pokemon ads luring my students' attention away from the task at hand. These companies are shameless in their "sponsoring" of otherwise good educational sites.  OK... I'll step off my soapbox and await your replies.

Thanks.

There isnt much that will block JUST banner ads. The iCab web browser will block them as well as other sites. Its available from www.icab.de ...Its a great browser and might come in handy.

As far as blocking banners in Netscape theres a utility called WebFree and its available from http://www.falken.net/webfree/download.html ...Enjoy!

Oh yes some other bits you might be interested in for the future are:

Theyre not specifically for blocking ads but they could come in handy.
