Try putting the Win 98 Disk in..then go to Browse this CD..then double click TOOLS..then double click MTSUTIL..then right click on Defrag..then choose Install. Reboot. See if that works for you..good luck.

Why won't disk defrag work. It keeps starting but then restarting before it gets 2% done. Not sure what is causing disk to keep restarting. Have a cable modem, seems like problems starting shortly there after. Am using @home software d1.7
