Some of the files in your IE are corrupted, if you have IE5 with the tool kit you may be able to do a repair. Otherwise I would suggest reinstalling IE.

I had all ready reinstalled with the same result

try unistall, open regedit, delete all the keys reference to ie, and reinstall ie again. If still cannot, maybe the problem is the OS itself. Format hd and reinstall windows.

I agree this would work but I do not want to have to reformat my harddrive to accomplish fixing a problem that should be able to be fixxed a simpler way....
