Loading .sav files for pokemon in emulator

How do you load a .sav file generated by the pokemon game in an emulator? I've heard it done, but haven't found out how. Please help. I need to know which emulator can do it and how.

I use a different emulator. SMYGB, have had no problem with this.

It runs under windows. Simply put the sav file in the same folder as the rom then file/load game

get the emulator frm:-

http://www.vgworld.com/gameboy.html

hope this helps

DUH!! You use no$gmb then you put the .sav in the slot directory.  Then re-name it so that it is the same name as your pokemon yellow (US) or rename your pokemon yellow (US) to the same name as your .sav file.  If you used a different version of pokemon for creating the .sav file, it may not work on pokemon yellow, ie if you saved a pokemon red game then tried to copy the sav to play pokemon yellow, it might not work.  But try re-naming it.  It worked for me.  If that doesn't work, it probably means that you have a different version of .sav file and pokemon yellow.  The .sav file might have been made on pokemon yellow (JAP) or even misstyped and it might be for pokemon gold (which I am currently translating).  But anyway, shouldn't you be deleting the game after 24 hours anyway?(kidding):)
