I tried copying the same files on a Windows 98 system and it gave a similar error.<br />
<br />
I am now convinced that this home-burned CD is corrupt- but I have access to the original files on Hard disk.<br />

I am trying to copy some .DLL files that I have on a CD-ROM.

Using Windows Explorer to copy/paste gives a fatal error dialog:

Windows 2000 is an operating system for use on both client and server computers.
