Can't copy .DLL files from CD-ROM
Hi Everyone:
I am trying to copy some .DLL files that I have on a CD-ROM.
Using Windows Explorer to copy/paste gives a fatal error dialog:
Error copying file or folder.
The parameter is incorrect.
Help please!
Thanks
Leigh

Have you tried copying them from a command prompt?

Thanks, pschwan, for your suggestion.
I have attempted copying the files from a command prompt, using both 'COPY' and 'XCOPY'. I get thee same 'invalid parameter' error.

Can you copy or read another file from the same CD?
How many sessions has the CD?
Is the CD in UDF format (created through an application like DirectCD)
Can you copy the sam file on another system?

I tried copying the same files on a Windows 98 system and it gave a similar error.
I am now convinced that this home-burned CD is corrupt- but I have access to the original files on Hard disk.

Leigh
