I see in one of your other questions that you use Delphi 5 Enterprise so I'll answer this question.

Look for the demo in the 'Program Files\Borland\Delphi5\Demos\Fastnet\Msg' directory. This demo shows how to send messages between 2 apps on different computers. It should be clear enough by itself but if you have additional questions, please ask them.

If you are interested, also take a look at this demo. It's something similar except is uses a server that enables more that 2 clients to connect and talk to each other (like IRC).

What I'm looking for is an example of how to use SendFile and CaptureFile. I need to send a text file across the network.

Hi Epsylon,

Thanks for your help. You didn't exactly answer my question, but I can use it anyway.

*Little* warning: this is complicated stuff. I started this demo a while ago but never finished it. It did not transfer the filename. I added that feature today but have not fully tested it.
However the server is able to handle multiple simultanious uploads using threads. I tried it with 2 clients and it passed the test.
