I need a compressed backup system the I can call from within my VB5 project. It must be able to span disks, and I must be able to legally distribute it with my application. Any suggestions? 50 point bonus for a good answer!!!

I have purchased copies of WinZip before to use with Access VBA. WinZip is able to span disks. www.winzip.com

Can Winzip be called and arguments passed to it from within a VB application? If so how?

Download an evaluation copy of WinZip from www.winzip.com along with the beta command line software.  There are help files that will show the different commands.  Then look up the Shell function to run the program.
