Digital Problem? - Sound Blaster Live! Platinum with FPS2000 Digital Speakers

Well, in another exciting episode of RTFM, I discovered that after I recently bought a SB Live Platinum audio card and a set of FPS2000 digital speakers, that the digital DIN connection (with the back plate attachment) does not plug into the back of the SB Live! Platinum card unless you have what Creative calls a
"mini-jack to DIN" plug.  I went to Radio shack, checked ALL over on line, went to Creative's web site, went to a local computer store too - no one has ever heard of a digital "mini-jack to DIN" audio cable Creative claims exists (Creative does not even appear to sell such a thing!  But they talk about it!).  I know that with the FPS2000 speakers, there is a red DIN cable with DIN connections on both ends that plugs into a back plate inserted in the PC, which in turn has a small cable on it that is supposed to attach directly onto the face of the SB Live! Card (there are some pins sticking up on the card this plugs into - supposedly) - but it seems that the pins on the SB Live! Platinum card do not quite match this plug.  Has anyone successfully configured an SB Live! Platinum audio card with FPS2000 digital speakers out there?  If so, did you have to do anything special to make this work - or did everything seem to work fine out of the box?

I haven't configure this 2 hardware before , coz Cambridge not as great as Altec Lansing.

But I do notice that DIN (digital in) plug or any converter is not available most places. I have tried to get a MD player work with this card and no luck.

My 2 cents, change the speaker if u can. :) good luck.

Call Creative at  1-800-998-1000.
They should send you the SPDIF adapter at no charge.
