Hi,
Here is my question : How can I do in order to execute an application just before windows shuts down ?

Goal : i use a console application (A)witch open a link with material connected in com1. The only way to stop this program is to launch another program (B). If nothing is done windows send the well-known message like 'this program doen't answer <wait> <stop>'.

Note : both of the console application (A) and the second program (B) are provided by the material provider, so i cannot modify anything on this.

Thanks for all help.

Here is a freeware program called LastChance, which allows you to run programs as if they are in a shutdown folder.

http://209.95.106.186/public/lchance.exe

I think you can figure it from there.

Funnily enough about 5 minutes after reading this question and saying nothing, I came across it at a freeware site totally by chance, while looking for something else.

Thanks.
