How can i add an ole activex cintrol to an activex control project?

same as for any VB project, from the Project\Components Menu.

then drop the control onto the USercontrol.

a. why isn't it added by default to the project as it is in standard project.

b. What is the name of the ole object in the componnents list (where should i sign the v mark?)

I see, you mean the actual

"OLE Container" object.

you cannot use the OLE Container object in a usercontrol.

the "OLE Container" will still be on your toolbox if you look but it will be disabled.

I'm not sure why you cant use it , and although theres a help button on the message box you get if you try to select the "OLE Container" there isnt actually any help associated with it.
