Hello all,
I have a HP8100i Hewlett Packard cd-writer running nicely under linux, however I have a friend with the older HP 7200e Hewlett Packard writer which connect by the paralel port. What modules do I need to load to make it work with the cdrecord software I am used to using.

Thanks in advance,
Nicholas Waltham

You need:
"ppa module", "generic scsi", "cd-scsi and that's it.
If i'm not mistaken kernel sources documentation talks about this.
