Receipt from Lotus Notes

I need to get a receipt from Lotus Notes everytime a specific Access report is mailed.  It is sent using the Send option in the File menu of Access.  Is there a way to set up a Rule to request the receipt for a specific message subject perhaps?

Sorry, but what address do you send the access report to and where do you want to send receipt to.

I assume you send to either a Notes user's mail address or a Notes mail-in database. You can create a mail agent that is to run the agent when new mail has arrived. You can then "add search" -> "by field" to specify the condition on which mail you want to run the agent.

Then you can add the action to "send a mail" to the destination address.

You may also want to set these two variables in notes.ini on the domino server in order to have faster respond.

Amgr_NewMailAgentMinInterval
Amgr_NewMailEventDelay

Set both to 1

Access report is sent to various in the Notes address list (database?, sorry Notes isn't my forte) and receipt would be returned to sender.

I know that when one send a mail from Notes client you can specify that you want to have a receipt sent to the originator once the recipient read the mail. But since you send the mail from Access, I don't think Access will have the option.

I was suggesting that you set the mail agent at the recipient side, that on Notes mail database.
