VBScript runtime error

I'm using IE 5.00.2314.1003. Twice today when I was trying to order something online, I got to a certain point in the process of submitting information and a page came up that said simply "Microsoft VBScript runtime error '800a000d' Type mismatch: '[string:""]'/higrades/store/confirmation.asp, line 89"
That's twice with two different online merchants (some of the info in the first error message was different, but it was also a "runtime error"). Is the problem in my browser or in their servers?

may be the problem with the server. but check if u r submitting ur credit information through wallet or not. if u r submitting your information and wallet is not installed in your computer, then u'll get nice errors like this. if this is the case, then try to click the links below the ordering page which is similar to like this -> "If you have problems with wallet, then try this" . by this link, u can submit your credit card information through HTML page. Hope this will solve your proble. if not, can u specify exactly after which step u r getting the error ??

I don't recall any reference to "wallet." Now that I think about it, the first problem did not involve  a purchase, but rather I was trying to submit the url for a book I have for sale to something called seekbooks.com. I typed in all the info they wanted, proceeded on to a page where I verified the information, then, when I pushed the "submit" button, I got this:

Microsoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC Drivers error '80040e57'

[Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][SQL Server]String or binary data would be truncated.

/free_listing_thanks.asp, line 84

You see, it's similar to the error message I got when I was trying to but something later in the day. Again I wonder, who's having the error, me or them.

As its an error for ODBC drivers, even i tried out the thing with our own site, which we r developing, when there is a failure to read data from database at server end, u'll get an error code 80040e57 . So it seems it's a problem with the perticular server, not a problem with your browser. : )

i have tested it by giving a wrong database name in my asp program. as it couldn't connect to the database, it gave this error.
