I'm trying to install a V770 Ultra on a Tyan S1590S running a AMD K6-2 350. I can't seem to figure out which drivers from Tyan and Diamond need to be loaded and in what sequence. I can get the system up in VGA mode but if I try anything else it goes to hell in a hand basket!

Tyan 1590 is using VIA MVP3 chipset. So you can go to www.viatech.com on DRIVERS area to download the latest VIA 4-in-1 4.20 driver (a combination of AGP/USB/IDE/Power Mgmt drivers). Please read the instruction on the website for Win98 user.

Then after reboot, install your Diamond TNT2 Ultra driver :). Or if you want the best performance, go to www.voodooexreme.com, Reference drivers section and download the latest reference drivers for TNT2 Ultra.

That's it.

I was aware of the Via website but not aware or the
www.voodooexreme.com site. I'll give it a try.

Thanks
