MS is working on a HotMail addin for OL2000 that's slated for release soon (but no solid date has been announced).

There is an addin (Relayer) here that works now:
http://www.tufans.com

There's also a way to see the Hotmail site from within Outlook shown here:
http://support.microsoft.com/support/kb/articles/q234/7/04.asp

You can also get this article by sending an E-mail with a subject of "Q234704" (without the quotes) to mshelp@microsoft.com.

This link should automate that for you:
mailto:mshelp@microsoft.com?subject=Q234704
