I am using 16bit color in Windows. I've found that once I have embeded the flash movie into the HTML page, I can see the background color of the movie is different from the background color of the HTML page even I have set them to the same color code. But it is fine if I am using 24Bit color. But most of the people are using 16bit color. So how should I make them the same? PLEASE HELP

I have also noticed this...

You can however, make the background of the flash movie transparent... That way the html page colour will display through the back of your flash movie.

Try this:
Click the "file" menu....
then click "publish settings".....
then click the "html" tab...
and change the background mode to "transparent windowless"

I believe this only works in flash 4.

another (and slightly more complex) method would be to change the background of the html document to be a tiled gif of exactly the same colour as the flash background.

try the first method first though  8o)

Let me know how you get on.
