Outlook Express 5.01 Startup

Whenever I try to start Outlook Express 5.01, nothing happens, and the mouse goes to working in background for five seconds and then goes back to normal. This has been happening ever since I installed the program McAfee Secure Cast. I have uninstalled Secure Cast at once, then I have tried reinstalling Outlook Express, as well as Windows 98 (SE) many times, but to no avail. Any help would be gratefully appreciated. Thanks.

See previously answered question #31, dated 3/18, Katie4. Option 2 worked for me. Had the same problem.
