In my recycle bin, my computer, etc. there is usually some information on the left side of the screen.

Example: in the recycle bin there is usually some information that tells you to restore all, or empty all.

In my computer, if you right click on C, the amount of free space and all will pop up in the left sice of the screen. When you go into the hard drive and go to open windows, it asks you to click here in the left side of the screen to show files.

My son has some how taken this information off not knowing how he did it, and I would like you to please let me know how to get it back.

Hello, it simple. In my computer or in explorer. in the view menu, there is an option "as web page" just click on it and you shall get what you want. It allows you to view as a web page which gives the options you want. For more options, in the same menu click options and there you can customise more, as single click or double click etc.
