Error Message ?

Why do I get following error message whenever I exit my Application ?

Error Message is :-
   First-chance exception in MyApp.exe    (KERNEL32.DLL): 0xC0000005: Access Violation.

Any Suggestions ?

What happens when you run in debug mode .. where does it say the error is?

hi nilesh,

check wheather u r tking care of releasing all the gdi objects
that u r using after restoring them properly.
i think this is reason why u r getting error message and
it enters in dll.

Access violation is usually when a pointer is left dangling (ie the object it pointed to is deleted, but the pointer still points to it).  or when a pointer has an invalid value.  or when you try to free some storage twice.

Running under debug should help tell you where the symtpom is occurring .. then you just have to see what is causing it and why this situation is happening.  Quite often the actual cause of the error is a long way in time and code from where the symtpoms are detected.

Send us some more info when you've gotten some debug output.
