I have a Macintosh 6100/66 and a 6115cd.  I've read how you can connect two macs through their printer ports with AppleTalk.  Isn't there a faster way? (like through Ethernet)

What cables and/or adapters would I need to do this?

Yes ethernet is faster. For those machines you will need a Crossover ethernet cable which doesnt require a hub. If you were connecting more than 2 you would need a hub and regular ethernet cable. The ethernet cable you want is called 10Base-T and you can get it at any computer store. Remember, crossover. You will also need two AAUI->10Base-T ethernet  adapters which you can get at any mac store. They are about $25 a piece.

Thanks much!  I thought it would be something like that, but wasn't sure and didn't know who to ask.

Thanks Again!
