Does anyone know how to display random banner on the web?

I would like to display different banner (.gif file)on my site everyday(I will have about 20 graphics held in my database).

Any help on this would be helpful.

I do not want to use javascript, only Domino.

I would create a form that is used to define an advert.

Give it fields like;
URL (to link to)
Image URL
Short description.

Create a doc. based on this form for each advert.

Create a view of these forms.

Add a computed for display field called bannerad (or similar) tot he form of the page you want the advert on. Make it's value equal to itself.
Add Lotus Script to web-query-open of the page you want the advert on.
Get it to generate a random number in the range 1 to the no. of docs in the view.
Use the get nth doc to get the document containing the advert descriptions.
Use these details to build a string that represents the HTML of the banner ad.
Put this string in the computed for display field on the form.

Does this help?

cya,
Sam
