How often is it recommended to run the individual tasks in maintenance Wizard?
If I was to schedule the scandisk, defrag, and disk cleanup...How often should each be set for?

The question is quite subjective, but research on the Internet has shown that generally monthly for Thorough Scandisk and defrag. Whilst, quick scan's are generally weekly

scandisk should be run once a week, normally at a firday night.Scandisk should be run before defrag to eliminate hard disk error's. Disk Cleanup should be run at least once a month due to limited size of tempery files.

Instead of runing the above prgramms to optimize your system, you may want to run TUNE_UP program, which is located in the windows directory. Tune-up delets tempery files, scans the disk for errors and defragments your drive as well, all in one step. this will save time, and the unecessary starting up of different optimization programms.

Depends entirely on how much you use your PC and for what you use it...
Also, Scandisk is not a necessity unless Defrag finds problems.

DarrinK,
The answer to your question, has many variables to it, such as :
            1: Version of Windows
            2: Frequency of Use
            3: Loaded, Running Programs
4: Time spent between clean-               ings.
            5: Internet Usage
            6: Many other Items
The answer must be determined by you!
Nobody else can tell when to clean house, can they?
You've heard of running a tight ship, I run the maintenance wizard daily to verify that is clean and running sharp! It also cuts down on the time spent doing the job and keeps my speed at which I can function at its best!
