I have a mpg file on my HDD that when I try to burn it to CD with easy cd creator 4 it tells me it can't because of the Date & Time is corrupt.
The properties of the file read as follow.

Is there any way of fixing this?

try this...set the time on ur computer to the year 2100. [double click on clock in ur windows bar]

copy the file to another name.

now it should read:
Created:   Saturday, March 04, 2000
Modified:  Saturday, November 21, 2099
Accessed:  whatever , whatever, 2100

the cd-creator will see that it was accessed after modification [reasonable now...] and should work.

I had something similar. All the dates must be less then TODAY, the date and time when you try to burn it. It seems that you have (or had) a small Y2K bug on your BIOS which must be fixed if you don't want this happen again.

There are only some programs that can change the files date and time, but I did it with Windows Commander ( I think 3.5x).

Good luck.

If you have many such files, then even the work with Windows Commander is hard. Than you should write a small program that fixes it. It can be even a small macro program in some Office application. If you need something to write for you, just post it here. I would be glad to help you.
