Invalid BLOB length

I am using oracle 8.0 and loading pictures in a dbimage field. For pictures over 32K in size I get "Invalid BLOB length" on some machines. What is the problem?

I think you have to check the parameters in the BDE Administrator and/or ODBC Manager....

hi calvin,

this problems occurs then,
when your query is not live!

adjust at the bde-alias the entry Blob-size to a higher value (32k is default)

What does it mean to be "Always On"?

Is your cloud always on? With an Always On cloud you won't have to worry about downtime for maintenance or software application code updates, ensuring that your bottom line isn't affected.

The blob entries were missing in the BDE. I added these to the registry and recreated the alias. It seems to work.
