The book I use is "sed & awk" , by Dale Dougherty, published by O'Reilly & Associates
(www.ora.com) ISBN No. 0-937175-59-5, US$ 27.95

I couldn't find a website, but if you have a look around www.ugu.com and the links to webring partners, you may find programming resources on one of them. Hope this helps..
