Hi, what kind of encoding is asf (video files i think). What are the main differences with AVI's, MPEG's,... (mainly quality and file size).
What's the Buffering (while loading the file)?
Thanks.
Arno.

ASF is Microsoft's streaming video format. It can use a variety of codecs, so the size of the resulting file is largely dependent on the choice of the person encoding the video. However, since it *is* designed as a streaming format, most videos produced in it will be much smaller than AVIs or MPEGs--the quality won't be stunning, but it will be better than the other two formats you mention for the same file size.

As for buffering, I don't know!
