My problem is more an annoyance really.

If you right click on you open window browser you get a selection of certain usefull commands.

My "peeve" is that when I got a certain program it inserted it's own web links in there, every time I right click I see those. If I wanted them I would put them in my favorites, I don't and would like to know what to do to remove them.

There also in the Tools section and I want them out.

Thanks.

This is a registry edit idea.
I had Altavista put some on my IE and I found them in HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Menuext
Perhaps yours are here too.

Same for HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Extentions.

Wow, well that worked.

Pretty lame for companies to have programs installed right into your registry without your consent.

Such is the way of the software industry.

Thank you for the tip, learned something today ;) .

Story of my life trying to get things as I like them! I'm glad it worked. Your time isn't always worth the effort to get rid of them (what I figure the software types must think too).
