Win 98 box wont shutdown

Has any one explanation/solution to why my win98 workstation (some times) wont shutdown properly? When this happens, I usually just powerdown. I'm using win98 2nd ed. 4.10.2222 A

daju.... have go at this...

Control Pannel, powermanagement, and if its on always on, select to never and turn it from 15mins to never on each drop down box....

IF its already set to that, do it the otherway around.... Turn them all from never to 15 mins and Always on to home desktop use....

the machines i have used this with seems to work, a bit like a toggle... don't ask me why it works (if it works for you)

I tried it and shutdown several times, no problems, thanx.
