Visual C++ style dockable pane &

can someone kind enough to tell me how to use MFC to make those dockable panes (classview/resouce/file) found in Visual C++ 6's ide. will someone tell me how to make a floating tool bar that has flat button (button raised with mouse over) arangement in 3 rows and 3 colums

It's not a trivial problem. Your best bet is to buy a 3rd party library that implements the code for you. Stingray makes such an implementation, as does Dundas.
