No keyboard or keyboard error...

my computer:
P 166 MMX (Intel)
G586IPC motherboard

One of my friends tilted a pinball game in DOS mode,
the game froze, and when i restarted the puter,
I got the headline message...
Next day I bought a new keyboard and rebooted,
with the same err message.*~!*

History: my realTimeClock
(solded RTC/NVRAM chip)
has been showing wrong time  (late)
during the last two weeks, three minutes one day
and 38 mins two days later,
and before I had time to replace it,  this happened.

Q: Can there be any other reasons for the RTC
to show wrong time, than that the battery is out?
Can these two errors have anything to do with
each other?

The errors couldn't be related. And did you check the old keyboard in another computer, I do not think that it has gone bad. Likely to be just some BIOS error.

yes maybe, but I can´t access BIOS now,
after rebooting it checks the memory
and halts, so...

Just open the cabinet and remove the HDD cable and reinsert again. Also press all connections gently and try. Might be some loose connections somewhere. And also how many beeps do you here when the system starts? Count the number and also if they are short or long. The signs give an indication of the error. Post them here.

I disconnected the new cpu fan
that I bought last week,
checked the cables,
and now everything worrks OK again...
