Is the msado20.tlb file self-registering?

Is the msado20.tlb file self-registering or do the setup program just need to copy it to the system directory?

will the msado.tlb file be installed when I Setup the MSDAC_TYP.exe file?

the .tlb file is only for VB development environment.

You need to deploy MDAC_TYP.EXE and everything will be OK.

The MDAC_TYP.EXE installed everything needed for ADO
