What are some good locations for doing web-based research on software products?  Specifically we're looking for tools for centralized management of data transmission and application upgrades, across various platforms (mostly UNIX) and including remote retail stores?  We're already looking at Prism/Unicenter TNG and CONNECT:Direct.

If activity in a discussion community is any indication check out www.delphi.com. There is a Enterprise Management Forum that will show you activity and information (or frustration) on at least some of the tools you mentioned. This kind of activity is usually a good indication of whats popular, and activily used in the industry.

Thanks for the help.  I had a tiny problem finding the appropriate group because it's actually under EMCion forum.  I'll be interested to see what kind of feedback I get.
