Hi MrBud,

To loop through all the properties of File Summary, do this:

Sub GetFileSummaryInfo()
'Read From
a = ActiveDocument.BuiltInDocumentProperties("Author")
'Write to
ActiveDocument.BuiltInDocumentProperties("Subject") = "mrBud"
End Sub

The list of arguments between "" is here:

Title
Subject
Author
Keywords
Comments
Template
Last Author
Revision Number
Application Name
Last Print Date
Creation Date
Last Save Time
Total Editing Time
Number of Pages
Number of Words
Number of Characters
Security
Category
Format
Manager
Company
Number of Bytes
Number of Lines
Number of Paragraphs
Number of Slides
Number of Notes
Number of Hidden Slides
Number of Multimedia Clips

They should be used between " " in the BuiltInDocumentProperties("Fill in here")

Good Luck

Thanks for the info.  Works within word, hence the points however I told slight porkies with the original question.  I actually need the code for a standard VB application created, not VBA.  If you have any thought/ideas on this it really is appreciated,

Regards

Martin.
