Install 2 copies of Win98 on 2 partitions?

I have two different copies of Win 98, one of which is already installed on partition C. I want to install the other copy on partition D (don't ask why). I only have a disk for one of them, the other was pre-installed. I'm a novice at this, but I can't get the Win setup to install on the second partition (D). It scans both partitions, finds the preexistent copy of Win, and refuses to continue, even when I boot from a floppy. Will a program like PartitionMagic help me to get this done?

Hello friend,
I am Vinay & programmer in development institute since 1.5 years & handling 17 computers per day. This problem is with u because u must be having D as logical drive & thats why it must be scanning both & searching for both drives. See to have two OS simultaneously on single harddisk u must have partitioned in two physical drives before loading OS. So u have to copy all data somewhere & then format c: again & then through floopy drive (by using any partition programme) u must divide ur harddisk in two physical drives.... FDISK has clear choices for this.... & then install win98 on bot of drives through CDdrive in natural way... it will not create any problem. But u must have two physical partitions.
