I'm a new user to Photoshop and I scanned in a image, used the inverted color option and I'd like to 1.)select the image that I'd like to change the color.  How do I do that. ie select the image to prepair it for a new color.  Also 2.) how do I take the selected image and insert a blue type color in the selected area.  Kinkos stated that it can be done in photoshop my manually adjusting the colors, but it would cost me $120 for changing 2 images colors.  Help.....

hi
try out the variations for your selection

what you do is
first

go to image > mode > CMYK Color

After that
select the portion which you want to change colour
then go to image > adjust > variations
or else if you want a particular color
go to image > adjust > change colors

put in the required and see what happens

Thunderbolt,
How do you select the image within the picture?  I just want to change the color of a shape?  How do you select, then how do you change the color within that image that was selected.  Also will it effect the rest of the image with the new color setting.  Since I'm a novice I was hoping that you could walk me step by step on what to do.
