New Lotus Notes-server

I have a Lotus Domino server and I want to install two more servers. Our server have the name fk01/Handels and serve inside our firewall.

Server two (I name it fk02/Handels is also inside the firewall but server three ( in01/Handels ) is placed in DMZ.

Server one is the master replicator and replicate to server tvo and three.

How do I do when I generate server-id-files and other configurations? What ports have I to open between DMZ and inside net?.

Version is 5 and operating system is NT4
I have a similar setup on our network the only thing we needed to do was open port 1352 for the servers that need to talk to each other ( this also works for clients )..

To make it more secure though we only let through traffic from the servers to the server in the DMZ and setup a pass-thru  for all clients via one of the safe servers to the machine in the DMZ... This meant that we could more easily make changes to who could access the DMZ , ie change the "allowed to use server as pass-through" instead of re-configuring the firewall..

For the server id stuff....

You need to register two more servers , so

Open the R5 Administration Client , go to the Configuration tab and from the menus on the right choose Registration -> Server.

Then select the certifier file ( the /Handels Certifier id file). Enter the certifiers password and then choose your registration server ( this will be fk01/Handels ). The from the box that appears enter the servers name ( fk02 or in01 ) don't enter a password unless you realy want one. Enter your domain name (Handels ) and the name or groupname of your administrator.
Choose the "Other" Tab and then deselect store id in address book and select "in file" , Then select the location to store the id. If you want the servers too be in the same "Notes Name Network" then change the network name to be the same the network of fk01/Handels ( find this in the NAB under servers-Networks view )

Then press the "register" button . this will create a server document and the servers id file for the new server , repeat this process for the second server making usre that you specify a different file name for the id path..

Once you have finished this, then you can configure the servers by editing the server documents in the NAB(domino directory) on fk01/Handels... Once you are happy with the setup you install the other server software and use the id files you have just created when configuring the server and sepecify to copy the Directory from fk01/Handels.... ( the first time you try to start the server after installing the software it will run the server setup automatically )

Hope this helps
