Need help setting up Source Safe with HomeSite or InterDev

I want my team to use SourceSafe for our ASP project. We all worked with HomeSite before and would like to continue do so but we would switch to InterDev if we have to.
Now, I have two NT servers - one is the main server that has all user accounts and (more important) the main SourceSafe database which is regularly backed up. The other server is our development Web server which we can do anything with (includint installing/removing software). Is there a way I can set everything up so that the code is stored in the database on the main server and all developers are using the second server as a Web server? Or would I need to install Source Safe on that other Web server and work off that? Can anyone provide detailed instructions if possible?

If you need extra points, just ask

Thank you

Hi,

You can set up your SourceSafe server to deploy either on demand or at a scheduled time. Using the Command line:
  ss Deploy $/SSAFE

will deploy the project.

the ss command line utility is usually in:

C:\Program Files\Microsoft Visual Studio\Common\VSS\win32

An alternative is to use Site Servers Content Replication Depoyment program to move the files from the first server's VSS working directory to the second either using the CRS Automation objects or the MMC console snap to set a scheduled or automatic replication.
