What is the difference between Shockwave Flash and Macromedia Flash.
Are both the same????

They are both the same.

Macromedia is the company that produces Shockwave and flash.

Shockwave is essentially a collection of browser plugins for multimedia.

Flash is a single technology ( and part of the shockwave group of plugins ) that allows for vector animation.
