FP 2000 error missing export MFC42.dll:6880
I am getting the following error when I try to open FrontPage 2000:
A device attached to the system is not functioning. The FPCUTL.DLL file is linked to missing export MFC42.DLL:6880.
I've seen a few answers to this, but they either don't work, or, the answer doesn't give enough detail as to how to do the fix. Some people have tried uninstalling and reinstalling FP but that didn't work. They tried coping the file MFC42.dll from another working machine, but that didn't work.
I did a search for the above file at microsoft but can't find any help.
Going nuts. Thanks
Assistance would be appreciated.
