disk full when print to file postcript

I print a Quark document to postcript printer but the mac send the follow message:

"the spool file could not be saved because there was not enought disk space"
and "disk full -34"

my system disk have 850 Mb free and the document is of 200 MB (whit images)

Your document in its current format may only be 200MB but when converted to printer language (usually postscript) it has the potential to be much larger. Also keep in mind that when that document is OPEN it is probably taking up a huge ammount of scratch disk space that is not available when you go to print. In any case 850mb for a 200mb document isnt enough. I know with photoshop a 200mb document with 3 or so history levels requires at least 1.5 gigs of FREE space just to open much less print.
