javascript shopping cart

I'm trying to develop a site which uses the concept of shopping cart which will display the products' name, quantities, prices etc and ofcourse their grand total which'll change if a customer continues shopping.
You can help me by sending a java script (or other) shopping cart in which i'll only change the names of the products. Rest it should work in a normal fashion. I'll be very thankful if you could help me regarding this.

Thanks,

Using javascript to create Shopping card requires to load file with descriptions/prices of all products,
in case this is more than 100 products
this can slowdown loading.

Also there is no way to handle on-line
transactions..

I had implemented Shopping card as 2 parts  JavaScript to setup card, keep IDs and QTYs in cookies and Perl CGI
to generate 'view card' page and transaction through SecureTrading site

You can find example at
http://www.netfx.com/~vmax/ShoppingCard/index.html
(it is bi-lingval Welsh and English)

CGI part of it can be converted into JS
without much problems, but again in case of many products  loading .js file with pricing/descriptions will slowdown everything.

Transaction part requires to know
how would you like it to be implemented
