tomb raider doesn't have a sound and the auto detect won't find my sound card.  although I've never known what kind of sound card I have because it came inside the sony mother board.  I got a sony pvc 100 computer.  Also heavy gears resolution completely sucks.  Does anyone know the hotkey or anything on how to change the res?  Thanks

I hate to tell you but heavy gear just plain sucks.  Just a guess but the sound chip on the m/b might give you a clue as to what you have.  Otherwise, maybe the m/b manufacturers website.  No luck with that, disable and get an Ensoniq(inexpensive), made by Creative.
