h/d wont detect

I have a conner (seagate) h/d model # CFS1275A. It will not auto detect, nor user define. What should I try now?

Hi Sterly

If you have a look here http://www.seagate.com/support/disc/ata/cfs1275a.html it will give you the specs to put manually into BIOS user define .. If it won't work with these specs then make sure that the drive is set properly with regards to master/slave  settings, the power connection is ok and the IDE cable is around the right way (normally red stripe towards the power) ..
