We have 2 computers at home, both run on windows 98, and share a single internet connection, I have installed Red Hat linux recently, and want to share the internet through linux.

The computer connected to the net wont be running linux, only the client computer will run linux.  Can someone tell me how to configure linux to connect to the internet through the (second) computer.

Only you have to do is to set the gateway address of the linux PC to the IP of the second PC. All other things have to managed from the second one.

Sorry I don't know redhat I have SUSE. It should be set where you set the IP-adress of your network card.
