What would be the quickest easiest way to make a custom scanning application in a VB program?

simply go to project-->components , and look for the 'kodak image scan control', then press 'Apply'
Add a new button to the form.
Add the following code in the button.
 
On Error GoTo myerr:
ImgScan1.StartScan
ImgScan1.StopScan
myerr:
MsgBox "error"

that's it.

What about with NT... and are those the only 2 available commands?
