Windows Explorer slows down. If you have a session open - each time you carry out an action ie copy, paste, create folder etc it gets slower and slower. Sometimes a reboot is required. Most noticeable on a laptop. Seems that Explorer is not releasing resources?

Hi Shaft,
if you are using the Internet Explorer 5.0 as your Windows Explorer than the problem is well known as a Mirco$oft-bug. This circumstance is known on Internet Explorer 5.0. I had the same problem by myself. You should install a patch or upgrade to version 5.01.

Look at http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/search.asp for the files.

Hope it helps
