I have an unusual question.

I would like to get a comprehensive list, perferrably broken down into categories, of different types of network infrastructure and network software that a company could have.  What I have right now is a flawed list of both combined:
- LAN
- Wireless LAN
- WAN
- Routers
- Switch
- Hub
- Gateways
- SNA controller
- FRADs
- Frame relay
- Network analyzers
- Anti-virus
- etc

I don't mean for someone to just come up with a list off the top of his/her head, but maybe could point me to some website that has this magical list which I seek? =)  I would actually like a list covering hardware and peripherals, networking and telecommuncations, and applications and development technology.

Thanks a lot!

The best option without spending money on referrence books is to visit -
http://www.informit.com/ - and sign up for their free online books. The site is not as good as when it was the Que Online Bookshelf, but it will provide you with all the info you need, and more.
