How do I setup win 98 SE full version over existing version of 98 or 95. Setup tells that there is allready an operating system installed and have to get and upgrade.  I have the full version of 98. but it wont let me install it.

delete c:\windows\win.com

and will let you install windows 98 se

Be advised that overlaying Win95 / Win98 is exactly that.. an overlay and as such.. you very well could lose all your previous Registry entries. If indeed you want to keep your existing software running.. see if you can find the Win98SE upgrade edition.
